Sorry about the wait again, my sister had her baby a few days ago!

Anyway, when I got the mug I took a picture of it right away so I'm not sure what's taken me so long to get around to sending it.

Currently, the mug is here with me in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I live about forty minutes north of Philadelphia. My name is Rachel, and I'm a writer and artist who currently works at a used bookstore while chasing down my dreams of finally finishing and finding an agent for my middle grade novel.

I absolutely love coffee, and when my husband and I were married this past October, we did a coffee brewing ceremony instead of lighting a candle together or mixing together vials of sand. I've included a picture of that as well!

By now, you can probably tell that my creative mind makes me a bit tardy with tasks sometimes. I've been enjoying the mug ever since I first opened it in the mail, and I can't wait to share what it's been up to since arriving here with me!

<![CDATA[Etsy connection]]>Mon, 09 Mar 2015 18:09:04 GMThttp://www.wanderingmug.com/greenfield/etsy-connectionThe spirit of the wandering mug captures my imagination in a way few other things can. I love collecting artist made mugs and knowing the love and attention that went into making them. I love to choose a mug each morning and picture the process of the artist who so carefully created it. There's a connection between the creator of art and the purchaser, but the wandering mug feels like it amplifies that connection, allowing a string of individuals to connect through a single piece as it passes through different lives and different homes. I would be greatly honored to host the wandering mug for a while, allow it to collect a bit of history here with me while I write at my desk, and then pass it along to another person.]]>
